On a night dive I was surprised to see this crab (Leptomithrax australis) foraging on a black coral tree in Acheron passage at the Muscle Cove channel entrance at about 12 metres deep, which is on the corner of Wet Jacket arm & Acheron passage. The crab was not very happy with my lights and scuttled off the black coral tree, allowing me to take only a few images. Fiordland. New Zealand.
