From the Rena Shipwreck
Rena debris no. 07, 08, 09, 10 & 2014 mega transects. Photographed on the 1st of August 2015 & 24th of July 2014 for mega transect on top layer.
The transects are essentially aerial views of the seabed, the distance above the bottom was set at 3m with a line and lead weight, and followed a compass course, the compass being fixed to the camera to help keep the camera always pointing in the right direction.
The photography was done with a Nikon D800 in a Nauticam underwater housing with a 20mm lens.
