On a calm summer day, it was possible to take this split-level image. It had not rained for 3 weeks. Usually the murky freshwater layer (1 to 10m) runs out over the saltwater like a river, making split-level images normally impossible to achieve. Milford Sound, Fiordland. New Zealand
