  • Rena debris field mega transect made up of three transects. Photographed on the 24th of July 2014.<br />
<br />
The transects are essentially aerial views of the seabed, the distance above the bottom was set at 4m with a line and lead weight, and followed a compass course, the compass being fixed to the camera to help keep the camera always pointing in the right direction.<br />
<br />
The photography was done with a Nikon D800 in a Nauticam underwater housing with a 20mm lens.
