These images are from a total 210 mins on 4 x dives, all in different locations on the outer reef with Dive Rarotonga. I did a lot of handheld panoramic images. Many of the panoramas did not stitch together, but a few did, if only I had my custom built panorama underwater tripod with me in Rarotonga. Enjoyed the diving, the water is incredible clear, up to 50 metres, like it was near impossible to loose your dive buddies, no matter how many stops I did to take photos. Quite different to diving in other tropical locations, there is no soft corals or gorgonians on the reefs. I loved the clear water, and my favourite dive was Croc Caverns, I could spend a lot more time there with some dive models.

We really enjoyed snorkelling in the lagoon, mostly from the Edgewater resort lagoon which is a marine reserve. Its shallow, but there is loads of fish in the reserve, outside the reserves there was way less marine life. We spent up to 4 hrs in anyone snorkel, one day my total time was 6 hrs and was quite cold even with a full 3mm wetsuit. Rarotonga is certainly on my list of going back to, but this time with my kids and probably more camera gear.

Rarotonga above water was an easy experience, the Rarotonga's were easy to communicate with, the Resort we stayed at Edgewater Resort was great, the buffet breakfast was awesome, the sunset dinners were amazing, could go and do sunset pictures on the beach whilst waiting for dinner to arrive. Was a great trip.
